Breckinridge County real estate sales have finally shaken off the effects of the Great Recession that began in 2009.  Growth in sales has been steady but seems to slowing just a bit.  The local economy is sound but not as robust as more urban locations.  Very few new builds are under construction.  Buyers are in the market even though interest rates are ticking up a bit, but they have few homes to choose from leading to slowing sales and higher prices.
